OMS DESIGN LAB
About the Design Lab
The former Tech Ed classroom is now home to the Oak Middle School Design Lab, a school makerspace where students and staff are encouraged to design and create meaningful work. With a lot of help from the Colonial Fund and a Toshiba STEM grant, the classroom has been outfitted with a laser cutter, vinyl cutter, five 3D printers, LittleBits Pro Library, woodworking equipment, updated woodworking tools, and various other “making” tools/materials.
